Saturday marked the formal induction of Ultimate Fighter veterans Forrest Griffin and Stephen Bonnar into the UFC Hall of Fame.
The two were inducted by UFC president Dana White and Craig Piligian, the executive producer of the reality series.
Griffin and Bonnar met in the finals of the first season, and many – including White – credit them with starting the current success of the promotion.
Griffin (19-7) went on to become a light heavyweight champion in the organization. Bonnar (15-8) battled the likes of current champs Jon Jones and Anderson Silva during his career.
The induction ceremony was part of the UFC Fan Expo and UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman, which takes place this evening.
