Rising contender in the featherweight class, Cub Swanson has been on an impressive hot streak, finishing three of his last opponents by knockout. Now with his sights set on a rematch with Jose Aldo, but fans won’t let him forget about their first fight, Swanson squares off with fellow top 10 145 pounder, Dennis Siver.
After being vocal about how he felt the recent shakeup in the featherweight class should have been treated, Swanson still won’t let it go, saying Anthony Pettis’ replacement, “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, is not worthy of the title shot.
“Lamas would have beat the Zombie. Easy fight, Zombie’s overrated, he doesn’t deserve to be there, he hasn’t fought the quality of opponents me and Lamas have…that’s just what I think”
Jung has been out of action in the time both Lamas and Swanson have brought in two wins each, extending their win streaks to four to the Zombie’s three.
