The biggest rematch in female fighting history will go down to close out 2013 for the UFC, as Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate are expected to compete on December 28 at UFC 168.
It remains unknown if the UFC will allow the women to main event the year-end card, which is typically one packed with main event-worthy matches.
Rousey (7-0) and Tate (13-4) previously competed for the Strikeforce title. Rousey claimed the belt from Tate with one of her now seven first round submission victories.
The two ladies recently completed filming on the 18th season of The Ultimate Fighter as coaches of both male and female bantamweights. The season airs in September on FOX Sports 1.
