Erick Silva hasn’t been with the UFC for two years, but the welterweight is planning to stay for the long-haul. If he must win fights in double digits for a title shot, it’s no problem for the 29-year-old.
“My desire is to win as much experience to fight for the belt, I was well prepared and stay with it,” said Silva to TATAME. “If you have to fight 10 times 10 times I intend to fight to achieve my goal.”
For the UFC, Silva is 3-2 with three separate honors. He has two for Submission of the Night and one for Fight of the Night.
Silva defeated Jason High with an early round one reverse triangle armbar at UFC on FUEL TV 10.
