Rogan: Frankie Edgar Is Amongst The Pound-for-pound Greatest

According to Joe Rogan, color commentator of the UFC broadcast, Frankie “The Answer” Edgar has risen among the best fighters in MMA.

Rogan says he sees the native of New Jersey being one of the greatest fighters in the UFC

“Frankie Edgar is amongst the pound-for-pound best fighters on the planet,” he said in an interview with the UFC. “I think his cardio is second to none, his pace is second to none, his heart and will are unquestionable. I think he also has one of the best chins that I have ever seen inside the Octagon, and one of the best abilities to recover, he’s just a tremendous fighter.”

Rogan on the former champ’s last two championship fights.

“Frankie has gone through two incredibly close decision losses that he very easily could have won. The decision loss to Benson Henderson and the decision loss to Jose Aldo. Those were two title fights that a lot of people thought Frankie Edgar won.”

The Former lightweight champion’s tricky, sped up style has kept him in championship matches for the past four years.
