Quinton “Rampage” Jackson Felt Out Of Place In The UFC Once He Beat Chuck Liddell

There was a time Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and the UFC saw eye-to-eye. That relationship doesn’t seem strong anymore as Jackson chose not to resign with the UFC and instead partnered with Bellator.

For Jackson, he felt the UFC turn their back on him when he beat Chuck Liddell.

“Chuck was part of the family,” said Jackson to Bleacher Report. “They was all really nice to me and then after I beat Chuck, right away, like 90 percent of them hated my guts. They didn’t talk to me no more. They didn’t smile at me when I came back there. It made me feel awkward.”

The first encounter saw Jackson beat Liddell for PRIDE in 2003. It was followed by Jackson getting a first round win at UFC 71 to capture the light heavyweight championship.

Jackson hasn’t debut for Bellator, but is expected to be part of Season 9. He’s been spotted on a few TNA Impact Wrestling shows.
