Chris Leben would love to avenge his loss to Josh Koscheck from the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). Since Koscheck moved to welterweight not long after the show taped, middleweight Leben is open to taking the fight at catchweight.
“Yes, absolutely I would take a catchweight fight with Koscheck,” said Leben to Mixed Marital Arts. “It would stop everybody that has been saying to me every day since the show came out, ‘When are you going to get a rematch with Koscheck? I hate him! I wish you would beat his ass!’ That alone would make it worth it.”
Koscheck beat Leben on TUF via decision. The two were far from friends on the show and often were in heated debates, which eventually led to their contest.
Eight years later and both are still employed by the UFC. Koscheck has had trouble finding his groove and is on a two fight losing skid. Leben is in similar water with a pair of losses. He lost a decision in December to Derek Brunson. It was his return after a suspension due to a failed drug test for painkillers.
