Australia’s Kyle Noke has the chance to represent his home country when he takes on Canada’s Patrick Cote for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): Nations. While it’s Noke’s job to coach his team, he’s letting it be known that it’s their responsibility to perform.
“I think there’s a little bit of added pressure with representing your country, but at the end of the day, it’s basically the guys that have to perform, not me,” said Noke on Knockout Radio. “I’m going to go in there and teach them and show them what I can, but it’s up to these guys to perform on the show. So the pressure is more on those guys.”
Noke beat Charlie Brenneman in 45 seconds for his welterweight return. It improved him to 4-2 for the UFC.
Cote returned to the UFC in 2012 is 2-1. He took the decision to Bobby Voelker in his welterweight debut.
Their season of TUF is expected to air in early 2014.
