Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante was taking it to Thiago Silva for the first four minutes at UFC on Fuel TV: Nogueria vs Werdum, before backing up against the fence. His output had faded by then and Silva took over from there, knocking Feijao senseless with some hard combinations.
Were you wondering why Rafael Feijao suddenly stopped pressing forward in his Octagon debut at UFC on Fuel TV: Nogueira vs. Werdum?
Feijao spoke with TATAME about the outcome, and what went wrong.
“I think he was better. I was doing well in the fight, but weighed a lot. He came out the winner, it was not my day. Nobody likes to lose. The work was well done, I was well trained, but he hit a blow on my waistline, which left me “fainted standing” at the end.”
