James Krause made quite the impact in his Octagon debut Saturday night, as he scored a pair of bonuses at UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson.
Krause, a veteran of Resurrection Fighting Alliance, replaced TJ Waldburger and picked up both the “Fight of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” in his win over Sam Stout. He earned $50,000 for each, while Stout also scored an extra $50,000.
The “Knockout of the Night” went to Shawn Jordan, who kick-started the pay-per-view main card with a 59-second finish of Pat Barry.
Making their debut in Winnipeg, the UFC broke the live gate of the MTS Centre, bringing in $3.15 million. Also, the attendance was recorded at 14,754.
