The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) was back with their third show, which consisted of nine fights.
The event started slow with the entire preliminary card going to the judges. The main card changed all that with several stoppages.
The biggest stoppage came in the main event when Josh Burkman quickly disposed of former UFC title contender Jon Fitch in the first minute. A guillotine choke saw Fitch pass out in a rematch from thier 2006 encounter.
It was Burkman who stopped the fight when he felt Fitch go limp as Steve Mazzagatti was out of place. Awful officiating by Mazzagatti as Fitch could have taken more damage than requried.
WSOF 3 was yesterday, June 14, with the main card airing on the NBC Sports Network. It came from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
