Later today is UFC 161, which was to be headlined by interim bantamweight champion Renan Barao taking on Eddie Wineland. When the champion fell to an injury, the UFC opted to pull the entire fight. Now, Barao is healthy and ready to meet Wineland.

Wineland liked the idea, but wanted the bout to take place at UFC 164. That comes from Wisconsin and is headlined with Benson Henderson vs. TJ Grant.
UFC president Dana White mentioned he’s not sure about what’s next for Barao or Wineland. There’s still the issue of champion Dominick Cruz, who hasn’t fought since October 2011 due to an ACL injury.
