For Trevor Prangley, he’s out there fighting for fun at 40-years-old. Don’t let age fool anyone as he’s done well, capturing the KOTC light heavyweight championship.
“I would have thought I’d be retired by now, but I just seem to feel better and better as I go,” said Prangley to MMA Weekly. “The pressure is off. I’m just enjoying myself now. I’m not as focused on winning. I just want to go out there, have a good fight, entertain the crowd, and it seems to be working better that way.”
After some poor outings in the UFC and Strikeforce, Prangley landed with KOTC in May 2012. Of his six wins for them, three include defending their belt.
Prangley has a deal with trainers and friends that when retirement comes, they will inform the 12 year MMA veteran.
