Last week, Cage Warriors purchased Ronnie Mann’s Bellator contract for $5,000. The new contract has Mann tied to a five fight deal.
Since Bellator kept Mann out of action for a lengthy period of time, they have promised to pay an additional $5,000 to their former fighter.
“As an apology – that’s why I’ve been saying they’re a great company – they are going to donate that $5,000 to myself for keeping me on the shelf so long,” said Mann on MMA Junkie Radio. “I haven’t gotten it yet, but they said they said they’re going to transfer it to me.”
Mann went 3-3 for Bellator between April 2011 and March 2013. He was unsuccessful in two featherweight tournaments and ended his Bellator run on a pair of decision losses.
In his last fight, Mann dropped to bantamweight.
