Cage Warriors and Bellator have struck a deal that will allow Paul Daley to compete for the European promotion while his visa issue continues to linger on.
It will be Daley vs. Lukasz Chlewicki in the main event of Cage Warriors 57.
“I’m looking forward to a fantastic main event and I’d like to thank Bellator for their cooperation in allowing Paul Daley to compete for Cage Warriors,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan.
Daley has been having issues traveling to the United States since a bar fight in late 2012. He’s taken two second round knockout wins this year for other promotions.
Chlewicki debuts for Cage Warriors, having won his last five since returning to the sport following a five year hiatus.
Cage Warriors 57 is July 20 from the Echo Arena in England. The main card streams at MMA Junkie and the prelim fights on Facebook.
