Léo Santos is skilled and lucky. He lost in the semifinals of the recent season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Brazil, only to end up the winner. Even though he was defeated by Santiago Ponzinibbio in the semifinals, an injury allowed Santos to enter the finals.
“Santiago is a fantastic guy with a huge heart,” said Santos during the UFC on FUEL TV press conference. “What we did in The Ultimate Fighter was a real war, a fight that will be marked in the history of the program, but I do not want to face him again.”
In the closing moments, Santos submitted William Macario in the finals of the season. Santos is 12-3 as a pro, as he awaits his next fight.
Ponzinibbio said he will return for his UFC debut.
