Lyle Beerbohm Catches Second Wind Prior To WSOF 3

Lyle Beerbohm is looking to get his name out there and the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) might be the place. In his first appearance for them, Beerbohm has been paired with UFC veteran Jacob Volkmann.

“I’ve only been fighting five or six years and half that time I was injured, so this is definitely going to be my second wind for sure,” said Beerbohm to MMA Weekly. “My game is evolving and I’m a lot better than I used to be. My body is all healed up. I feel great, everything is and I’m ready to go.”

Beerbohm fought for Strikeforce on occasion, losing two fights for them in 2011. He’s earned six straight wins since that time, competing across the United States.

Volkmann was 4-6 for the UFC with nearly every win coming by decision. His last fight was a submission loss to Bobby Green at UFC 156.

They will open the WSOF 3 main card on June 14. It’s from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV and will air on the NBC Sports Network.
