Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans is finished with his fight camp a week out from meeting Dan Henderson. The two will square off next Saturday night in the main event of UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson.
“It was the last sparring session b4 the fight! My camp has come to a end! I’m thankful for all my training partners, coaches & ASM supporting staff for making this one of the best training camps in my career!” Evans posted late Friday night.
He also posted a picture of himself with Tyrone Spong and Cezar Ferreira, and added a special thanks to his Blackzilians.
Evans is coming off two straight losses, having been defeated by Jon Jones and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Henderson is also on a losing skid following a decision loss to Lyoto Machida.
