UFC 160: Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2 generated nearly $3 million at the gate, according to numbers released by the Nevada Athletic Commission. The card went down May 25 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez defeated Antonio Silva in the main event in front of 12,380 fans. Of those, 10,075 were sold tickets, while another 2,305 were comped.
The event brought in $2,942,365 million to be exact. The UFC will return to Las Vegas next month with UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman on July 6.
