Conor McGregor made a lot of noise in Cage Warriors and didn’t disappoint in his UFC debut. He needed 67 seconds to finish Marcus Brimage for Knockout of the Night at UFC on FUEL TV 9. When he returns against Andy Ogle, the plan is to end the fight even quicker.
“It makes no difference who I fight,” said McGregor to Independent. “It will be the same outcome. First round and it will be over. It’s not going past a minute. My U.S. debut, it’s going to be insane.”
The Irishman continued that when he’s 30-years-old, he wants to be considered the pound-for-pound best like Anderson Silva.
Ogle certainly will look to stop that from happening. He is 1-1 for the UFC, taking a decision opposite Josh Grispi.
UFC on FS1 1 comes from the TD Garden in Boston, MA. It’s August 17 and is being billed as a massive card with a dozen fights already announced.
