At a Bellator media call this week, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was announced as the newest acquisition for the promotion. The deal includes time for Jackson to compete in TNA Wrestling and several Spike TV specials about the former UFC light heavyweight champion are also in the works.
Jackson quickly made his TNA debut, appearing inside the ring for Impact Wrestling. After cutting a promo, he ended by saying, “To be the best, I know I gotta beat the best.”
That led to Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle making his way into the ring and the two had a stare down. Angle said someday, Jackson will have to go through him.
The meeting ended with an intense handshake as neither star looked to release the grip.
Below is a video of Jackson’s first Impact Wrestling appearance, which was yesterday, June 6.
