First it was Khabib Nurmagomedov that made it known he would gladly welcome the challenge of BJ Penn if the former UFC champion decides to return to the Octagon.
Now, another lightweight contender, Evan Dunham, is throwing his name in the hat.
Dunham (14-4) posted on Twitter that “With all respect if BJ Penn needs an opponent when he returns I am more than (willing). Would be an honor to fight him.”
Reports continue to circulate that Penn (16-9-2) is attempting another return, this time at 155 pounds. He last fought at welterweight, falling to Rory MacDonald.
