Robert Drysdale, who has coached the likes of Frank Mir and others in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, has signed with the UFC. Drysdale will face Ednaldo Oliveira at UFC 163: Aldo vs. Pettis.
The card takes place August 3 from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The bout will likely be part of the prelims.
Drysdale (6-0) has earned six first round submissions in his pro MMA career, including a recent win over D.J. Linderman.
Oliveira (13-1-1) lost his UFC debut to Gabriel Gonzaga at heavyweight. He will be returning to light heavyweight for this fight.
