Rashad Evans knows that Dan Henderson needs only his right hand to end a fight.
“Dan’s right hand is very dangerous, he knocks everybody out hard,” said Evans. “I’m not going to go in there and stand in front of him and try to bang it out and hope to God I don’t get hit with that big right hand. I’m going to be smart.”
Both light heavyweights are attempting to keep their name in the Top 10 as they’re coming off losses.
Henderson was out for around a year when he took a decision loss to Lyoto Machida. The loss also meant he was no longer the No. 1 contender.
Evans is a former champion, who dropped his last two.
They are the new main event of UFC 161 on June 15. It comes from the MTS Centre in the promotion’s debut for Winnipeg.
