Dan Henderson is known for his one shot knockout power and has no problem demonstrating it on Rashad Evans.
“I’m going to use the best tools that I have to try to win this fight and knocking him out is one of those things, one of my best tools,” said Henderson. “I’m definitely going to at least try to knock him silly, put him on his back that way, take him down, put him on his back there and try to wear him out.”
The light heavyweights are the new main event of UFC 161 as they attempt to land a little closer to a light heavyweight title shot.
Henderson missed out on his shot at champion Jon Jones when he went down with a knee injury right before UFC 151. His return was a split-decision loss to Lyoto Machida at UFC 157.
Evans enters the Octagon for the first time off a pair of losses. They came at the hands of Jones and Antônio Rogério Nogueira.
UFC 161 comes from the MTS Centre in Canada. It’s June 15 and is the promotion’s debut in Winnipeg.
