Of Dave Huckaba’s 25 career wins, 16 have come via knockout when his opponent chooses to stand and fight. He meets Rolles Gracie, who is making it known that he’s putting this battle on the ground though might trade a few shots while still on his feet.
“It’s no secret that the first opportunity I get I am going to take down my opponent and put the fight to the ground,” said Gracie to John Petit from Fighters.com. “But I am feeling confident standing up these days. I feel the work I am putting into it is paying off. I am becoming more confident.”
Huckaba has fought mostly out of California with his biggest fight being a loss out of Bellator.
Gracie is 8-1 with the sole defeat coming in his only UFC appearance. He’s submitted all of his wins, including a pair for ONE FC last year.
The two are making their World Series of Fighting (WSOF) debut on the promotion’s third installment. WSOF 3 comes from Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The main card airs live on the NBC Sports Network on June 14.
