Amanda Bell Working Her Way Back Into Invicta FC

Amanda Bell spent years in the amateur WMMA world, crafting her skill with a 6-1 record. Following a year of inactivity, Bell returned to the sport but on the professional circuit at Invicta FC 4. She suffered a decision loss to Tamikka Brents in January.

Bell plans to relocate to Team Mata-Leao in Canada in hopes of returning to Invicta FC. First, she takes on Charmaine Tweet at BFTB 2 on June 1 from the Western Financial Place.

“I want to stay active,” said Bell to MMA Weekly. “That’s why I want to get relocated to this new gym quickly and get settled in up there and keep on training like I’ve been doing. After this fight I’m hoping to get another call from Invicta and be on the event after July.”

Tweet poses a 3-3 record since her first fight in June 2011.

Invicta FC 6 is July 13 from the Ameristar Casino in MO. It’s headlined with Marloes Coenen vs. Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos for the inaugural featherweight championship.
