Lightweight Luke Newman and middleweight Leeroy Barnes have signed deals with Cage Warriors for five fights.
“They want to be active, so I know they’ll fit right in at Cage Warriors,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan. “I wish both guys luck, and I’m looking forward to seeing them in action.”
Newman took part on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): The Smashes, where he lost to the eventual winner Robert Whittaker. Outside of TUF, Newman is 5-1. He suffered his first loss earlier in the year to the undefeated Ryan Scope.
Barnes started his career at 6-8, before a late surge. That’s changed since August 2011 as Barnes is now 12-10, breaking .500 for the first time in his career.
Barnes debuts at Cage Warriors 57 on July 20 with an opponent to be announced. Newman’s debut isn’t known.
