Holly Holm, Former Boxing World Champion, Lands In Legacy FC

Recently-retired three-division world boxing champion Holly Holm has signed a multi-fight deal with Legacy Fighting Championship, according to a press release.

Holm will make her debut on AXS TV July 19 from Houston. The same card is set to include former UFC fighters Roger Huerta and Leonard Garcia.

“After speaking with all MMA companies,” Holm’s promoter Lenny Fresquez announced, “we have selected Legacy because of its commitment to help prepare Holly for a Super Fight, as well as getting her the right television exposure.”

The 31-year-old posted a 33-2-3 record inside the squared circle, including nine knockouts. She is 3-0 in her brief MMA career and trains out of New Mexico at the world-famous Jackson-Winkeljohn gym.

“I’m excited for Holly and Legacy,” Holm’s longtime manager/head trainer Mike Winkeljohn commented. “Holly Holm will dominate the world of women’s MMA and strike its fans with a fistful of awe.”
