Reza Madadi Allegedly Arrested In Sweden

Reports from Expressen have UFC lightweight Reza Madadi being arrested in his home country of Sweden following a high speed car chase. Madadi and an associate allegedly broke into a designer handbag store and stole about $150,000 of goods.

They face charges of aggravated theft and abetting larceny. If convicted, up to six years in jail is possible.

There has been no official comment from the UFC.

Madadi is 2-1 for the UFC and defeated Michael Johnson at UFC on FUEL TV 9 in Sweden. He earned Submission of the Night for his D’Arce choke on Johnson.
