Danny Castillo won’t be looking to bang with Bobby Green. The lightweight prefers taking less damage, but knows anything can happen when the Octagon door closes.
“I don’t want to brawl with anyone,” said Castillo to Sherdog. “We wear those four ounce gloves and people fall all the time. I always try to stay disciplined, but once you get punched in the face, it’s only natural to throw back. I like to stay technical for any opponent.”
When the WEC was still in business, Castillo was with them until the end. He’s 5-2 for the UFC and took a decision over Paul Sass this year
Green joined the UFC off four consecutive wins for Strikeforce. He beat Jacob Volkmann at UFC 156 and took Submission of the Night.
They are set for the preliminary end of UFC on FOX 8. It’s July 27 from the KeyArena in Seattle, WA.
