Gray Maynard’s Intimidation Means Little To TJ Grant

The UFC lightweight division is packed at the moment with decorated fighters. By the time UFC 160 ends, the next challenger to the gold will be known. A title eliminator is set between TJ Grant and Gray Maynard.

“I feel like new blood, I bring an exciting style, I think that a lot of fans don’t know a lot about me, but hopefully just getting to fight on the pay-per-view is going to bring my name to the masses a little more,” said Grant on Great Debate Radio. “I want to have a good performance and be exciting and violent.”

Grant is undefeated as a lightweight with four wins. He stopped Shane Roller and Matt Wiman in the process.

Maynard returns for the first time in almost a year, after suffering a knee injury in November. The only person to beat him is Frankie Edgar, who was champion at the time.

UFC 160 comes from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. It’s May 25 and the lightweights are set for the main card.
