Travis Wiuff Content Competing On Smaller Shows

For 12 years, Travis Wiuff has been associated with MMA in various weight classes. He’s seen action in some of the biggest promotions such as the UFC, PRIDE and most recently Bellator.

Wiuff knows his days with larger promotions could be over, but he’s not done fighting.

“I have no grand illusions,” said Wiuff to MMA Weekly. “I’ve had a decent run. I’ve been successful. Right now I’m taking fights that are meaningful to me and I’m not really looking any further than that.”

At 35-years-old, Wiuff is close to 90 fights, winning 68 of them. Since losing in the finals to crown a new Bellator heavyweight champion, Wiuff has taken another two losses. He’s 4-2 for Bellator.

Wiuff takes on former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Mike Kyle for CFA 11. It’s tomorrow, May 24, and comes from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL.
