Bellator Signs Three New Fighters, Including Former UFC Name

Bellator’s official trip to England has resulted in the signing of three new fighters in Martin Stapleton, Rob Sinclair and Paul Sass. The details weren’t made public, but they are believed to be long-term contracts.

“The No. 1 question I get from fans is, ‘When will a U.K. television deal be completed with Bellator?,’” said Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney. “We are setting the table for making Bellator an every week televised occurrence in the UK”

Stapleton is a Cage Contender fighter who is 12-1. He’s taken his last eight fights.

Sinclair’s a lightweight and stands at 12-2. Nine of those wins have come via knockout.

Sass was released from the UFC after losing to Matt Wiman and Danny Castillo. Before those losses, he was undefeated with 13 wins.

It’s not known when or against whom the latest signees will meet.
