UFC hall of famer Chuck Liddell is anticipating a future Anderson Silva-Jon Jones fight and thinks the middleweight champion would leave the victor.
“Jon Jones could not stay dancing in front of him as he does to others and would have to put it down, but Anderson has shown that fighting well beneath,” said Liddell to TATAME. “I do not think that Jones has the punch to win.”
Silva has cleaned out the middleweight division during his undefeated stay in the UFC. Jones just tied the light heavyweight record for most title defenses with five.
UFC president Dana White has promised Silva in a superfight, but he still has to deal with Chris Wideman at UFC 162.
