ONE FC CEO Victor Cui has been busy since the promotion took-off in September 2011. By 2014, ONE FC plans to roll out with 24 shows per year.
“We have so much demand for ONE FC shows that it is unbelievable and to keep up with the demand we will be hosting 12 events this year and expanding to 24 in 2014,” said Cui to MMA Weekly.
Cui was surprised by how quick they’ve grown as their ninth show approaches.
ONE FC Rise to Power has Honorio Banario defending his featherweight championship against Koji Oishi in the main event. The 20,000 seat SM Mall of Asia Arena is nearly sold-out according to Cui.
They headline the May 31 card out of the Philippines. It airs across Asia and can be purchased by clicking here.
