Gleison Tibau vs. John Cholish
Back to the lightweights with Gleison Tibau (26-9) and John Cholish (8-2) each looking to get back into the win column after recent losses. Leon Roberts will be the referee.
Round 1: Tibau, a massive lightweight, goes to work on the body. Would be interesting to hear Tibau’s pre-fight weight, as he looks like a small middleweight/large welterweight right now compared to Cholish. Tibau catches a kick and storms, taking Cholish down. Cholish quickly back to his feet and avoids any punishment for the takedown. Tibau with a nice right-left combo that lands, backing Cholish up. Tibau catches another kick and counters with his heavy left. Big double-leg takedown scores for the Brazilian, as he looks to pass guard, but Cholish stands up. All Tibau over the first four-plus minutes.

Round 2: Tibau quickly uses his excellent ground game, bringing this fight to the canvas. The Brazilian looks in an arm-in-guillotine and Cholish is forced to tap, ending his career with a submission defeat. Tibau’s big left hand just moments early put Cholish on his heels.
