Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos thinks Ronda Rousey’s time as champion is about to come to a crashing halt. The former Strikeforce featherweight champion believes Cat Zingano has the tools to become champion.
“I think her next fight is tough,” said Santos to Sherdog. “[Zingano] is good, aggressive and I think she will be ready to defend against Ronda. It’ll be a great fight.”
Cat Zingano became the No. 1 contender by defeating Miesha Tate. Before they fight for the title, they will make history as the first female coaches on The Ultimate Fighter.
Santos makes her second appearance for Invicta FC as she looks to win the inaugural featherweight title. She’ll take on Marloes Coenen at Invicta FC 6 on July 13 from the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, MO. It can be purchased by clicking here.
