The fans want to see a superfight between UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, but one person is holding out. Silva’s trainer Rogério Camoes wants the superfight to be his retirement bout.
“I would like to see this fight against Jones,” said Camoes to TATAME. “I wanted to see this as his last career fight. He wins and retires.”
If that was to happen, it’s not good news for the fans as Silva looks to sign a new UFC contract with around 10 fights.
Neither champion is yet to taste real defeat inside the Octagon. Silva returns at UFC 162 against Chris Weidman and Jones just stopped Chael Sonnen in the first round of UFC 159.
