According to Bleacher Report’s Damon Martin, Leonard Garcia has signed a multi-fight deal with Legacy FC. The former UFC fighter will make his debut for the promotion on July 19, taking on Rey Trujillo.
Garcia was recently released by the UFC following a fifth consecutive defeat. He is 15-11-1 in his career, but has not won since a split decision victory over Nam Phan in 2010.
Martin also reported that Garcia will be allowed to return to the UFC if the opportunity arises by Legacy FC. The fighter also recently decided to split time training at both Jackson’s MMA and Team Alpha Male where his cousin, Duane Ludwig, is the head coach.
