Demetrious Johnson has been to the championship rounds a few times in his career and knows the importance of still having energy. Due to this, Johnson has no issue with fights going for the full 25 minutes.
“I get tired, I’m going to be pissed at myself and my coach is going to be pissed at me and it’s not going to be a good night,” said Johnson to MMA Junkie.
The flyweight champion is coming off a shoulder injury as he looks for his second defense against John Moraga. Johnson has been champion since September of last year.
Moraga has finished his two UFC opponents. He took Submission of the Night over Chris Cariaso with a front choke.
The flyweight championship headlines another UFC on FOX event, this time on July 27. It’s from the KeyArena in Seattle, WA.
