Tyrone Spong needed to pullout of his World Series of Fighting (WSOF) co-main event due to visa issues. That won’t be a problem as he competes at GLORY 9 from New York City. Featured will be a one night light heavyweight tournament involving Spong.
Spong enters with a knockout of Remy Bojansky in March. As a kickboxer, he’s 69-6 with 42 knockouts.
Also announced are three superfights including Daniel Ghita vs. Brice Guidon, Joseph Valtellini vs. Francois Ambang and Brett Hlavacek vs. Paul Marfort.
GLORY 9 comes from the Hammerstein Ballroom on June 22. There is no date for when Spong will return to the WSOF.
