Liz Carmouche and Miesha Tate both have UFC losses to their name. As the UFC women’s bantamweight division continues to settle down, these two are set to meet.
“Liz is an incredible fighter,” said Tate on AlienwareChannel. “She’s got a hell of a spirit. I really think we’re gonna light that place up.”
Carmouche was unsuccessful in the first WMMA bout in UFC history as she was submitted by Ronda Rousey in the first round.
Tate lost to Cat Zingano via third round TKO and her chance at a direct title shot.
The females are scheduled for UFC on FOX 8. It’s July 27 from the KeyArena in Seattle, WA.
