At 28-years-old, Jorge Masvidal knows that he can’t fight forever and wants to provide plenty for his family while he still has the means. The Strikeforce star has interest in meeting Pat Healy or Jim Miller, though the rest of the division didn’t impress the lightweight.
“I’m looking for easy paychecks at this stage of my career,” said Masvidal on the GenghisConFIIms channel. “Plus, one of them is ranked in the top something, so I definitely want to fight one of them. I just think for many years, a lot of these guys that are so called top 10 really aren’t s— and I’m here to prove that.”
His UFC debut was a decision win over Tim Means at UFC on FOX in late April.
Healy defeated Miller at UFC 159 when the latter passed out from a rear naked choke.
Masvidal’s return date is not known.
