UFC officials have been forced to suspend another fighter, as Robbie Peralta tested positive for marijuana metabolites last month at an event in Sweden.
Peralta lost to Akira Corassani on the UFC on FUEL TV: Mousasi vs. Latifi main card. He will be suspended for six months and must pass drug rehabilitation classes to compete again.
“The UFC organization has a strict, consistent policy against the use of any illegal and/or performance-enhancing drugs, stimulants or masking agents,” the UFC’s statement read.
Peralta holds an overall MMA record of 16-4 and has gone 2-1 since joining the UFC.
