An injury caused Daniel Sarafian to miss the finals of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil and his eventual debut went to the judges who gave it to his challenger C.B. Dollaway in a split-decision.
“I was looking for a win in the debut and it is important for the development of any athlete,” said Sarafian to TATAME. “I hope to have pleased the organizers and I think I will have the chance to show my value in the fighting.”
As he looks to secure that first UFC win, Sarafian will do it opposite newcomer Eddie Mendez.
Sarafian is 7-3 with wins mostly out of Brazil.
They meet at UFC on FUEL TV 10 on June 8. It comes from Brazil’s Ginásio Paulo Sarasate. Headlining the card is Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Fabricio Werdum.
