The lightweight division for the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) is on notice that Tyson Griffin is headed over. The former UFC fighter confirmed via Twitter that he signed a multi-fight deal.
No debut date or opponent is known, but Griffin wants in for their August card.
I hope to be on the august WSOF card & can’t wait to put on the most exciting fight the @wsoffans have ever seen!!

Griffin started his UFC career with three Fight of the Night honors. He would take two more, including Fight of the Year against Clay Guida before he was released after going 1-4 towards the end of his run.
Following a 13 month layoff, he took a decision at RFA 4 against fellow UFC veteran Efrain Escudero.
WSOF has not mentioned anything past their third show, which is set for June 14.
