UFC Tonight had several interesting reports Tuesday evening surrounding both the female bantamweight division and The Ultimate Fighter.
First, it was reported that Miesha Tate and Liz Carmouche are in talks to face each other later this year at UFC on FOX 8.
Both are coming off defeats, as Tate was topped by Cat Zingano and Carmouche lost to UFC champion Ronda Rousey. Tate is currently suspended due to a nose injury suffered in the loss.
The Ultimate Fighter held a country vs. country season last year, as Australia competed against the United Kingdom. The Aussies appear to be atop the UFC’s list for the next version, going up against Canada.
Also, Gegard Mousasi’s manager told the show that the light heavyweight is very interested in a move to middleweight.
