King of the Cage (KOTC) is headed to the Philippines as the MMA expansion continues to explode in the Asian market. It will be the first time KOTC holds a show in the Philippines.
For the show, KOTC is going all out with plans for two title fights. Jr. welterweight Lowen Tynanes and middleweight Sean Strickland headline the event in separate bouts with their respective belt up for grabs. No opponents have been named.
Tynanes is undefeated at 4-0 and won his last three since December. He’s finished those three wins.
Strickland has fought 11 times in his career, with 10 being for KOTC. He’s undefeated and not allowed seven fights to see the second round.
The exact details about KOTC’s debut in the Philippines haven’t been revealed.
KOTC has held majority of their shows in the United States. They’ve been to England, Australia, Canada and Japan since their inception in 1999.
