Cung Le knows he can defeat Anderson Silva, but it might take more than one chance. The former Strikeforce star figures he takes the win once in 10 fights.
“I’m sure afterwards, I’d probably go to the hospital, get some stitches,” said Le during a UFC Fight Club Q&A. “But for me, maybe he kicks my a– nine out of 10 times, but that one time, you never know because it’s MMA, and anything can happen.”
While there’s no mention of an upcoming fight, Le remains an active competitor. Last year, he beat Patrick Côté and Rich Franklin. He earned Knockout of the Night for finishing Franklin in the UFC’s debut in China.
Silva has to worry about Chris Weidman at UFC 162 on July 6. That hails from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
